H/K AVR 745 & H/K DVD 47

I’m living in Norway and I’m considering upgrading my H/K AVR 5000 to H/K AVR 745 and also buying an H/K DVD 47 as soon as the AVR 745 is available here in Norway.


For viewing I use a Philips 37Pf7320/10



My speaker setup is as follows:


Front speakers: Audio Pro Avantek Nine.

Centre speaker: Audio Pro Avantek Two.

Surround: Audio Pro Avantek five.

Surround back: Audio Pro Avantek one.


All speakers are 4 ohm.


What frequencies should I use for the different speakers and since the front speakers each has a 150 amp amplifier should I use a 7.1 or a 7.2 setup.


Since I already have an H/K DVD 31 I’m considering using this as a dedicated CD player and using the 47 as a pure DVD player.


I will be forever grateful if someone can comment about this particular setup.
