Heya,


I am looking for a used, good amp to run my magnepans, MMG. I currently have my HT setup to Onkyo 706. I am planning on connecting an amp to onkyo's pre out and running a 2 speaker system, MMGs, for music only.


I can get the Halfler P-500 (250 watts/channel) for $325 or I can get Adcom GFA-545 II for $150.


Which one is better? Will they both run the Maggies fine in my currect setup? I am afraid of Hafler blowing fuses in my house.

I had that Hafler years ago in an apartment I rented - no problem with blowing fuses. Either amp will work well with the Maggies.
