Actually this is nothing new, Sony makes digital cameras that capture colors

with red, green, blue, and a fourth color that Sony calls "Emerald", but really

it much more of a blue-green color. In fact mathematically I'm sure it lands

exactly halfway between true blue and true green on the color spectrum.
