Is the HAI 47A00-1 wireless PIR appropriate to mount externally to facilitate automation of my front porch light? I just want to activate the light on motion and turn it off after a set amount of time. The PIR would be protected from the direct elements ... but it would be outdoors. This is in Socal so its pretty dry.
I already have a wireless receiver so it would be a snap to add this in and set up the automation commands.
What do you all think?
