Hi,


Anyone has success in making a cable with one or 2 D15 pin VGA connectors thicker than this?

Then tiny one is a comparison between an off-the-shelf generic cable.

Nice looking cable. How did you solder the coax cable to the DB15. I did a cable like yours but the coax to db15 connection are tought. What is your secret?

It is sheer hard work, all the coax are soldered very close to the pins, the housing of the D15 is sawn, and the whole piece is tested before it is moulded into epoxy for life time usage. Then the outer jacket is wrapped with 3M glass tapes followed by adhesive lined heat shrinks.

I read somewhere a forum member did it with 5 L5-CFB, but it sure can't go into that housing.
