Holy friggin plasmas Batman... Just saw my first dvd (LOTR: Two towers) on the new dvd player (Sony DVP-NS725P) i bought with Monster component cables (i forgot the name of it). Two words..... WOW

and WOW

. Just need to setup the audio toys...I'll keep ya posted.

If I may ask,

1)where did you buy yours and were you happy with the deal?

2)How is the picture quality with standard cable, if you are using this?

3)Lastly, is the lack of 720p a noticeable problem for you in daily viewing?

Elvis my man....wasabi!!! I replied to your PM so check it out. Let me answer those questions here too for everyone to give their feedback also.

1. Sound Advice....under $3500....no interest....no payments till Jan. 05!!!

2. When i arrived home all i had were composite cables and and non prgressive scan DVD player.....still looked good. Then i bought my SONY DVP-NS725P and a set of Monster component video cables and watched LOTR: two towers and i think I peed a little!!

3. Unfortuantly I havent bought an HD box but I'll let you know what i think as soon as i get one.
