I had a Harmon Kardon AVR 130 receiver which I just sold.

The problem is when hooked up and when you want some volume you have to turn it up to even hear anything

ex--it starts at -80 db and basically to get a decent sound it needs to be at -45 to -40db. you can hear abit at -55db

I can't remember if this that was happening before or is normal or if you should be hearing something at say -70db

Depends upon the input level of the source and the sensitivity spec of your loudspeakers...

It seems normal, it won't start getting loud until -45dB..

Just my $0.05.... 馃憤馃槈
