You saw it here first ... well, maybe not, but I couldn't find links to this anywhere else so I'm taking credit for it until someone says otherwise, since I don't see these listed officially anywhere on the Logitech site. Here are links to two manuals for the upcoming Harmony 1100 series. Enjoy
good reading for the WC if anything.

The "i" probably stands for incapacitated. Just like the 1000i, the 1100i is probably the Aussie version of the remote, minus RF capability (due to anal Aussie regulations) ... more than likely, since as you can see in the manual there's nothing about RF.

the "i" stands for "i"n case you were wondering the 1100 is nothing but a firmware update that every 1000 owner was waiting for, but we as a company felt we felt we could get some money by selling the new firmware update in a new remote.

I am not wondering and realize that if I don't currently own the 1000 then the 1100 isn't a bad idea.

I have been itching to buy the 1000, so glad this was announced. Now I am pumped for the 1100!

I just recently had the 1000 and was happy with it. I didn't use it for RF so I had only one issue with it or two. It would make the noise when I would dock it and sometimes it would freeze up... Other than those it worked perfectly. I also tweaked it pretty good and had fun doing so. I was using the Left and Right hard buttons for some commands with my Blu ray and other components. Came in handy as a MENU button and RETURN button. Or GUIDE and INFO for DirecTV. I just decided to return it because I heard a crazy rumor the 1100 was going to be announced the following week. Glad I did.

"fool me once...shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Why some that are aware of Logitech's screw over of 1000 owners would still consider the 1100, is a mystery to me.

note, there is the 1000i and 1100i which do not include RF, for sale in Australia only, and the 1000 and 1100 for the rest of the world, including RF

edit: hehe, i didn't get the entire joke there. good one

I am aware but I decided to return it and wait and see what the next gen would bring... Good move... Just like taking the Unders in all of the games the past week. I now have enough to purchase 3 1100s!
