Is there any type of rubber boot that can go around a Harmony 890 pro that would help protect it against falls, drops, etc? We recently got a Wii and both of the controllers came with a clear rubber protector that fits around them and still allows the signal to beam through. I'm just worried that one of these days the remote is going to be dropped and the gyro or circuit board in it become damaged and I'll end up having to fork out for another remote. When I bought this one I couldn't believe I was paying that much for a remote control but it's worked very well for us so far. I'd just like to protect it if I could.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

I would point out that the Wii controller is xmitting Blu-tooth - not IR. (And your 890 may or may not be xmitting IR.

The Wii controller has an opening over the IR window so it shouldn't be a problem to do the same thing with the 890 or any remote for that mattter.
