For those of you who are subjected to use Cablevision as your cable provider, I feel your pain.


Here is my issue, some idiot over at Cablevision (or Optimum, whatever you want) decided to make the end user's lives a bit more annoying. Instead of simply pressing guide to go to the guide, you press guide and it goes to a menu where it asks you again to press guide to get the the channel listings.


Is there a way on my harmony one remote that I could make a sequence where it presses guide and goes right to the channel listings?

Click "Customize buttons" for your activity and you must have an "Add sequence" option at the bottom left. Give it a name then assign the newly created sequence to the Guide button.
