Will it control a cable box and sattelite setup with DVD Player and Audio Receiver easily?



I mean like if you press watch TV, will it be able to control both the cable box and sattelite easily?

You'll probably have to make them different activities which is very easy

Yes. This is from the Harmony User Guide:


To have more than one activity of a given type (e.g. If you have both a cable converter and a satellite receiver, you can add a second Watch Television Activity) click Add an Activity. When you're done, rename the activities to help you distinguish between them (e.g. For the Watch Television Activity you could rename one "Watch Television" to "Watch Cable" and the other to "Watch Satellite".)

Except for the 688 that has 4, the other "6" series remotes have 3 hard-labeled activity buttons. The fourth one one the remote (to the right) is a "More Activities" button. When pushed, additional activities show up on the LCD screen. More can then be accessed via the "Next" button.
