I recently had a chance to view my Academy Screener DVD of this movie, so here's a short review. The DVD contains a 2:35.1 Anamorphic 16x9 Widescreen transfer on a dual layered disc that is very smooth and film like, the Audio options are Dolby Digital 5.1 or Stereo 2.0 only, I've only had a chance to listen to the Dolby 5.1 sound and have been very pleased with it's sound field presentation. During my viewing I noticed no signs of edge enhancement or compression problems throughout the entire DVD, I'm sure this is due to the fact that this is a bare bones DVD with no features at all, just Audio and Video. The DVD is chapter encoded but there is no chapter menu, the only menu you get is the Audio options menu when the DVD first starts up, and then after choosing your Audio, the movie automatically begins to play. Happy Holidays, Chris.

Thanks, Chris.

I wish all movies would start as easily without having to jump through several hoops. I'd rather have a screener than a bloated production disc.
