I actually own that pictured integrated, the A4. IMO, excellent. Killer for the money. I also had owned an Audcom A160, 80wpc solidstate but a tube pre section that was also very good - a bit fat on the bass but nice.
To me, the A4 has a smooth presence in the midrange, hard to describe. Clear but not sharp. I also have a Krell 300i integrated and trying the Audcom again (which I had prior to the Krell) so I can decide which to keep. The Krell is sharper in the highs and very detailed but sometimes sounds exagerated. I use a theta gen II dac, but have to use the RCA/unbalanced because the balanced out to the krell's balanced in is just too high pre levels giving me only a 3 ticks for lower volume listening. The audcom sounds more "romantic"?! (hate using dem phile words)....
Nice thing about A4 is the multiple preouts and the remote.
