I'm about to start the merry go round of OB replacements for my green blob issue on a $4500 XBR1 .


They will replace my OB at their expense but with only a 90 day guarantee and no guarantee that it won't happen again and no answers to what they will do to make me whole should it happen again. Especially after Oct. this year. They just refused to answer that , answered only with - dead air- over the phone and then stating there are no "guarantees in life" in a argumentative tone no less .The repair costs $1780.00



So what experiences have you had with Sony Canada regarding these OB issues? Who should you complain to , to get the set replaced? Has anyone had any success with that? What happens to me after Oct of this year should the OB fail again? I'm getting the distinct feeling that I'm getting screwed.
