I have a Dishplayer 7100 and subscribe to the St. Louis local channels. On Dish's website they show channel 11, KPLR as satelite channel 826, but my reciever does not display it, nor can I choose it. Customer service first thought I had a hardware problem, but when none of the fixes worked, they had a conference and decided that KPLR WB11 was a superstation! As such it was not part of the local package.


Anyone else ever heard of this?

I think they were thinking of the wrong WB11. WPIX, WB11 from NYC is in the supers pack, but KPLR STL WB11 is only available in the St. Louis LIL package. When you called E* did they tell you to pull the card or run a check switch? This is the most common way to force a channel.
