Here's my setup:

Samsung HP4253 - 42" Plasma TV

Samsung HT-AS720 - HTiB 5.1 system

PS3 and Xbox 360 via HDMI to AS720, and then HDMI from AS720 to TV.

I've read the Big 1000+ post thread on the AS720 but didn't seem to read up on any fixes for the hand shaking issues.

It's gotten to the point where I have to power cycle the receiver once or twice to get things working properly. It mostly happens when I use my PS3 as I don't use the 360 that much.

So what are some ways to solve this hand shaking issues, if any?

Thanks.

Are you just trying to control the receiver with the tv remote? I turn on the receiver with the tv hdmi-cec menu, then on the receiver switch from sat-optical to sat-hdmi2.

No, I'm using the receiver controller that it came with to turn it on.

I seem to have handshaking issues 90% of the time. Either no signal is found, the picture is off color, or the sound is garbage.

It usually works for me. I have problems when I enable '4:3 override to 480p' on the comcast cable box. But changing channels or pressing the dvr button or switching hdmi devices fixes it.
