I am about to have my set calibrated and am wondering what to expect. Will the fleshtone shades improve? did you end up using the Vivid mode for this set? What are the specific limitations when compared with the commercial model with respect to calibration limitations (if any)? Answers from owners or calibrators who have worked on this specific model would be most appreciated.


Finally - was it worth it?!?!?!?


I have searched the owners forum and have not found anyone with this set who has had their calibrated.

That's probably because not many people get them calibrated. I'm not getting my 50PX60U done. $200 for only grey scale adjustment is too much. The picture is amazing after tweaking the user settings with an Avia test disc. Good enough for me.
