well I am forced to take a hard look and make some sales due to a job loss.

its not fun but I know at some point things will turn around. But between this and a kid on the way in May some things have to go.

So the questions is a fair selling price.

I have a Pioneer 6010 in PERFECT condition with exactly 90 hours on it.

It was a tv we bought for our loft and it has seen almost no use. Non smoking home and it has been professionally ISF calibrated (at 86 hours)

Is currenly on a peerless articulating mount which I would include in the sale because like a dummy the stand was accidently discarded.

UGH.............

ok so whats a fair price. I am not even sure how to go about shipping logistics in this case or if it would even be worth it considering the 6020 is out etc etc

suggestions

Although its the wrong forum, but I am sorry to hear about this. Every major retailer, manufacturer, business has been effected because of job loss, thus resulting in default on mortgage to foreclosure.

You should be able to get roughly $3000 for it. For shipping, you can use companies, such as FreightClick , however, they are very expensive. You might be able to sell it on Craigslist with some luck.

Good luck!

thats around the area I was thinking. I am trying to avoid craigslist right now for a number of reasons. I shipped a 65 inch plasma that I sold on here about a year ago and ABF freight was just under $400 for that monster and it when on a skid. That might be the way to go.

Yeah its a common sad story but only the strong survive. I have had my ups and downs and always managed to come back around. This time I am going to be a bit more reserved in my purchases

Either way someone is gonna get a rare bird with 90 hours and a full ISF calibration so I hope it finds a good home

Yeah I know what you mean. I have faith that you will be fine during this bad time.

I would then use ABF if you have used them before. Yes...whoever gets this display will be blessed!

You have to be careful shipping, most shipping companies pay 50% or less if the box shows up perfect and the panel on the inside is cracked. ( Yes I am sure it was not cracked before it left, but the shippers will not care. 1-2 times a year we loose 50% value on a unit for no reason
)

E-Bay, cash only pickup, someone in FL will swoop it up fast.

Do a local pickup only sale. It's just not worth it to ship a large set. At least with local pickup you can let the buyer see it on, so that they know it was working before it left your house.

If you insert all of the packaging and reseat the display properly with tons of packaging materials then it should be okay during transit. Although like Chris said, there is the possibility of cracked screen.
