FYI - I have a Hauppauge, and while it isn't perfect, it does what it is supposed to do without any problems.


Circuit City has them in their ad this week for aroun $75 after taxes and rebate..

I've got one and this deal is making me think I may want to get a second one. The deal in our flyer was $99 with a $20 Hauppauge rebate and $10 CC rebate (both mail in).


jcrash - are you using more than one? They have beta code to allow multiples on a network. I just have one so haven't tried it yes.


You are correct, There are many better units out there but at $99 it did mostly what I wanted and now at $69... Of course, if I get one I'll need to buy the 5" TV they have for $29.00 so I can read the Hauppauge menus so, I guess for me, I think I only save about $0.01
