I Have about $3500 to spend on a TV and Im looking for a little advice on what to spend it on. Ive been looking at Sony projection screens and LCD's. Im leaning towards LCD.. It would be mostly used for Video games and maybe a pc hook up from my GFX card also for gaming. So that is why I am leaning towards LCD. Well im looking for anybodys opinion on a specific set and the reason that I should consider it. I've read many intelligent posts on this forum so I'm hoping maybe somebody will help me out. For your price range, the plasma I would go with is the Panny 42" ED. But I'm not sure it may be best for your use/purpose. The reason is because plasma's are prone to burn-in's. LCD or DLP may be the better choice for you.
