I got it connected via ethernet and i can get internet radio and pandora to play so I know its connected.. i downloaded the app on my at&t HTC one x phone and it will not connect or find the receiver.


anyone have this problem. i really want this app to work but cant get it.


both are in the same router, My phone using wifi and the denon hooked up with ethernet.

The Denon REMOTE app currently only works on iDevices with the android version still in development and not yet released. Until it's released, other options for your android phone include AVR-Remote and AVRDroid .

so there no remote control support if you have iphone for this receiver? I went the thread and just trying to clarify it.. there aren't any updates and app store doesn't have an app free or aftermarket that supports iphone to control this receiver?

ok thanks.. I misread your previous posting.. why asked again.. generally iphone apps are more supported then android apps why asked a second time..

i have a customer who is using a denon 1912 and controlling it wioth an ipod touch using the denon remote app. It has been working excellent for 2 weeks now and just today its non functional. airplay and internet radio still work but the denon remote app is not. anyone else having the same issue.

ive tried reinstalling the app, it recognizes the reciever but will not control it. It was awesome when it was working.
