Hi everyone, newby here from Muskogee OK. Looks like a nice place here. Does anyone here have any experiences with an LG DN191H DVD player? I bought one at Best Buy and had a person tell me iI made a bad choice and should take it back. I don't know that he knows what he is talking about, so I would treasure your opinions please. Thanks so much

LG is not exactly known for their DVD players. Most prefer the Oppo 981 or 970, or even a Sony.

Don't get the sony dvpns70h. Had it for a day and noticed bizzarre compression issue. The people were somewhat squished especially on 1080i setting. The newer model has solved this problem (but may suffer chroma upsampling error but I cannot confirm this).
