Hi all,
I have a few questions about my surround speakers. Right now, I have them sitting on some old tower speakers but, I would like to get them higher off the ground. My problem is, the room they are in was built as an add-on and the studs are placed funny in the walls. Not to mention, there are two doors in the way. I need a way to get the speakers around six feet in the air but, I would like to be able to move them around. Anyone have any good suggestions? I was thinking about some fake columns but, the one's I've found are fairly expensive. I can always build something but, I'd like to find a quick and easy method. I might be able to mount them on the wall if there is a good way to do it without having to have a stud behind them. There are no studs in the right spots and the speakers weigh 15 pounds each. They are Klipsch RS52's. I have attached a sample of what the room layout is. It's not to scale of course but, it gives a general idea of the room.
Thanks,
Case
