The past 3 days I have been having a reception problem with Sat. B (Directv) at 119 degreees. I receive digital (with a separate antenna) fine and I receive Sat. A at 101 degrees. Do not have Sat C installed. The signal from Sat B comes and goes between 97 and zero! It will be at zero for several minutes beofre coming back to 90's. The receiver seems to be ok. My dish has not been moved. Could it be the LNB for the B satellite? Any opinions, suggestions apprecaited.

Key items to check:

* make sure all of your connections are dry and tight. To verify, loosen them, clean, and re-tighten.

* does your dish have a separate multiswitch? If you can bypass the multiswitch and connect just the 119-deg LNB, that can help you narrow down the problem

* try swapping the Sat A and Sat B LNBs to see if the problem follows the LNB

All connections are dry and tight. Will swap the 2 lnb's. That sounds like a good thing to do. Or, perhaps, could insert a new lnb on Satellite B dish and see if problem goes away. Does seem to be a lnb problem to me.
