Hi All,
I have an Onkyo RC160 receiver that I'm trying to hook up to a sub using the Dayton APA150 power amplifier. I could not get it working no matter what I did. I tested the dayton amp/sub separately with an ipod and it works fine. So finally, I grabbed a multimeter to check the voltage on the preamp rca output on the Onkyo RC160 reciever. When I run the speaker calibration test through setup, the preamp output is at .045 Volts however when I hook up an rca cable and test the other side of that cable it drops down to .002 Volts. I've tried 3 different RCA cables with the same exact results. Any ideas on what I should try next?
Thanks
