I have a Sony STR DH700 receiver, B3000 speakers and a BIC V1020 sub. Everything works except for when I connect the sub to the LFE out. I cannot any sound from the sub like this. I can however get sound with using the "From Receiver" "To Speakers" Posts on the sub. I am thinking that I have a bad subwoofer out on my receiver but I wanted to get some second opinions.


Could the LFE in on the sub be bad if the Old school speaker posts work?

It is possible that you may have to enable the sub out in the receivers menu to get the sub out to work.

OK, got it figured out. The sub was enabled on the receiver. I was testing everything with music through my xbox. I ended up playing with the audio settings in the xbox, and the sub is now officially working.
