Hello folks,

I went to Magnolia and Definitive Audio the other day to ask them some questions about the use of a server to store my movies on. The guys at Definitive didn't help me, and the guy at Magnolia just showed me the Kaleidescape which is way more than I want to spend. So here is my question: Let's say I load all my movies onto my computer, and it is plugged into my projector. I sit on my chair with a device in my hand that lets me flip through my entire collection of dvd's or cd's just like the iPod touch works, and my movies are shown by their dvd case picture and not just their file name. Then I find the one I want and push play. No keyboard, no mouse, no secondary monitor sitting next to my chair. Just a touchscreen remote with all of my movies available visually with the finger swipe method to move to the next movie, or the category search function. Does it exist?

I have read other posts and one was interesting using the xlobby program on a touchscreen monitor to play music. I didn't find any prices though and if it is as bad as the Kaleidescape then forget it. Can you help?

If not can someone have Morpheus download some software programming abilities into my head so I can build it myself without taking 4 years of school for it?

OK, thanks for the info guys. I was hoping for something like a small screen that fits in your hand or maybe next to the chair that someone could walk up to and pick a movie that would play right away. I saw the product called Sooloos which is exactly what I was thinking, except I want it to do that with dvds.
