HBO's "This is My Father": Not True HD?
Last night, I recorded, on my COMCAST DVR, the movie This is My Father on the HBO HD channel.
HBO's website said the telecast was "True HD." However, the picture was 4:3, not OAR of 1.78:1. The PQ looked like SD, not HD.
Unfortunately this is the only telecast on HBO's HD schedule for this month.
Did anyone else see or record this movie?

Here's the story. If it's a modern movie, shot in something other than 4:3, and it appears as 4:3 and looks like SD and not HD, then it is SD and not HD, regardless of what is listed on HBO's site, which is on occasion incorrect. Trust your eyes, not what is listed on the web site.
