In Rockland Co. my reception area is 40 miles north of the ESB and the WTC. I have a mountain BEHIND my house in the opposite direction of the ESB and the WTC. With a roof CM Quantum antenna (VERY directional antenna) and matching amp, I get ALL HD channels (including the new WNET-HD channel, 61), as well as 28, 44, 45, 31, and 33 in the high 80's on my DTC 100.

However, I get CBS (56-2) at a very low strength (ie28-33), naturally with many dropouts. An HD expert did an analysis and said that the mountain is reflecting this channel's signal ONLY, due to the higher frequency of this channel. No explanation as to how 61 (ie WNET) comes in perfectly, as well as the fact that ALL other HD channels as well, come in just fine. The feeling is that I am receiving the REFLECTED signal of 56-2, and thus the poor numbers. Why this doesn't occur with ANY of the other channels I cannot figure out.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do??
