I bought an "open box" Sony HD-200 rcvr at local big box store. I was looking at the Samsung for $599 and the HD-200 seemed like a good deal for $429. Now that I have been reading this forum, I am wondering if I have made a mistake. I really don't won't to spend over $500, but after playing with the HD-200 I am having second thoughts about the PQ and the feature set.

Would one of the other HD rcvrs in the $399 price range be a better choice? I have a Samsung DLP and connecting it the HD200 via the DVI cable.

I am interested in your more learned opinion, whether I should return the HD-200 and go with with one the HD Rcvrs D*TV is offering for $399, or the Sony is a still a pretty good rcvr and I should keep it?

What problems should I anticipate with my D*TV subscription, should I replace the HD-200 with another rcvr?

Make sure you check out the $399 thread in the HDTV section of AVS. If you've been with D* for more than 2 years, you may get an even better deal...;)
