Now that Onkyo and others are making it relatively inexpensive to own DTS MasterAudio and DolbyTrueHD decoders, I have questions. Will the HD-A1 output those audio streams from the coaxial and toslink outputs? I know I can get Dolby TrueHD out the analog outputs, but will it send these new audio streams out to a receiver?? Can the unit also send these out the HDMI cables??

Nope, Optical/coaxial doesn't have enough bandwidth for those.

HDMI will work fine(as will the analogs as you noted).

analogs will still be best as far as anything but dts-ma hd goes in those low end receivers
