This morning, while going through BJs (a local 'warehouse' store similar to Costco/Sam's), I noticed that they had a Toshiba HD-D2 on display, with one new in box on the shelf below it. Price: $349. The display was pretty lame - it was connected to about a 30" LCD - probably 720p. It looked pretty good, though - clearly better than the SD DVD signals being used for most of the screens in the store. I guess they're following Costco's lead.
No Blu-Ray in sight.
Unfortunately, HD discs themselves were MIA.....
I'm hoping that they are coming soon.....
