I have a brand new Altec Lansing HP Pavilion dv9000 Laptop with a HD-DVD drive, but not a single HD disc will work on it, it will only play regular DVDs. Does anyone know what the issue is?

Like the sotware is not supporting HD-DVD? That could totally be the case.

Firewall? Or a virus would do it as well.
