HD-DVD on LCD rear projection

Was wondering, i have a 55 in mits wdscreen RPTV.Hd-dvd looks pretty dam good on it.Tomorrow i'am recieving sony KDF-55E2000 Grand Wega 3LCD.In your opinion how much of a difference will i see in picture quality,compared to on my mits.Thanks
