I can't believe I'm the first to notice this. The TV Guide web site www.tvguide.com shows HD cable listings for my zip code.

Yeah but my listings aren't accurate. They don't have any of the nightly HDTV sitcoms listed at all for any day. Not very useful.

There's a three-source option shortly after you enter your area code. I never made it to the evening HD cable options, perhaps because I started scrolling through time segments and that late afternoon scroll froze on me. Believe there's a drop-down menu to go to a time segment directly.


Subscribed to the printed weekly digital-cable TV Guide because of all this tedious scrolling--plus my computer isn't running constantly at my HDTV location. But the printed edition isn't spelling out HDTV programs, which would only require a symbol such as "%" for 1080i. Might prompt SDTV owners/viewers to investigate further and expand HDTV ownership. -- John
