I just purchased a 50" LCD RP TV (Sony 55A10) and i have it connected to my digital cable box (DVR) via coax. When I go to the HDTV channels I hear the audio for a second and then see a black screen. Am i doing something wrong? Do I need digital cables from my DVR to my TV?

Please help, Thanks

You'll need either component cables, DVI or HDMI cable to get an HD picture. HD does not pass through the coax on the output of a cable box to a HD TV set. Also, make sure the cable box you currently have, supports the passing on an HD signal. The back of the cable box, should have either a component out or DVI output.
