as i understand it, cable HD programming is much superior than any satellite HD programming?! as i was told, most cable HD is uncompressed (or not as compressed) vs. satellite HD programming.


can someone pls verify with some details.

Cable can be better or worse - depends on your location and provider. You should look at a thread for your local area to see how others have found their cable service.

in my case it would be Dish HD vs. Timer Warner HD cable (formely Adelphia Cable). is there somewhere i can check to see a comparison?
