The only current HD Tivo is offered by DirecTV and requires DirecTV service to operate, so you won't be able to get one in Canada (legally). Sorry.

Does anyone know whether and where one can purchase the new HD Tivo PVR in Canada? Does it have to be offered by a program provider?
