The local guy told me I would be able to pick up the HD signals in the KC DMA with the 2 LNB setup I currently have..it is an oval dish.


Is this true?

The Sat C kit required for the third LNB requires no change in the multiswitch. http://www.directv.com/imagine/pdf/MultiSatC.pdf shows the instructions.

That's what you need. You can get it free from DirecTV plus $8 shipping with a 1 year commitment to total choice programming though.
