I am helping a freind out connecting his plasma to the HD200

We have used the component out and we can cycle through all the format (variable1-2,1080i 720p,480p) using the format button on the remote.

Now the problem in with DVI. Its plugged into the DIV in on the Plasma (it supports digital DVI).

The only signal I get is the 480P and when we try to cycle through the formats we only get the 480P-the others show no signal on the display. we dont even get the autodvi option on the format list as mentioned in the manual.

any suggestions?

We'll need to know what plasma you're attempting to hook this to, the harsh reality here is that not all DVI connectors are the same.

I'd recommend reposting the question with the details in the plasma section.

I'm using the HD-200 DVI output to a Sony GWII and I can access all variables.

I keep mine set on auto-DVI.

I think some of the DVI inputs (especially on plasmas) are designed only for PC connections. As someone noted, you probably can get a better answer on the plasma forum.
