I'm running C04 but I've heard tell of a C05. I'm experiencing some menu freezing and remote unresponsiveness.


I've heard atrocious things about Optoma's customer service and would rather not have to send my unit in, so is there any possible way I can resolve this issue on my own?

Unless something has leaked recently I would say no. C02 was the firmware that had the lockup problems. c04 was stable. C05 just fixed an amorphic lense issue. I would try a full reset before sending it in

Thanks for the reply. Damn, have c04, but the menu still freezes, even after a system reset.


Just to be clear, I reset through the menu, right? Not sure if there is another, 'hardware' reset or something.


Wish I love this projector, but the menu freezing so disheartening because I bought this unit on eBay and don't think I'm covered by warranty. Not sure what this is going to cost to get repaired...
