It has been happening off and on, You hit the power on the remote. The projector turns on (fans start going) then they cut off. You hit the power button again, nothing. The lights start flickering on the remote. After a few more times the power will finally cut on. OR it doesn't at all.


It does cut on when you hit the power button on the projector, but it requires a ladder to get to it. Batteries are new.


This is always after its been off for a while.


Should I exchange it?


Does the projector take a while to turn on when cold? Is it some sort of bulb firing up issue?

do you have a universal remote handy that can handle the codes for the projector? you could assign projector control to your universal remote and narrow down that the remote is actually the problem.


you could also do what i do to a remote when it doesnt work. smack it.
