I have a Sammy hd931 and HLN5065. Out of the two, which would be better to use for 480p? From what I understand, the de-interlacing/scaling circuitry on the HLN is better than most DVD players, but what about compared to the HD931?

I realize this is a rather minor point since I should just use the DVI connection anyway (the DVI cable is en route), but I'm just curious which provides a better progressive picture.

Thanks in advance.

I can't answer your question (I have a Bravo D1) but you would seem to have the perfect "lab" to test the two. Switch the HD931 between interlaced and progressive and compare the images.

Set that player on 720P and use the DVI cable. Don't waste your time on any other type of hookups with this player. The PQ is excellent.
