HDAV1.3 revision/sucessor on the cards?
Has anyone heard talk about something in the planning stages?
Xonar HDAV1.3 standard/deluxe has been in the market for quite some time now...
And there's been many shortcomings identified which could be addressed in a major new revision.

Thanks but I'm not clear on how that's got anything to do with a revamped xonar hdav1.3?

In the the Home Theatre Computers "sub-forum" I posted in two threads; a pre-existing massive thread relating to HDAV1.3/deluxe, & a new thread (this one) created by me.
I'm well aware of the Slim, I was referring to a next-gen HDAV1.3 with revamped: SPU, DAC, & or OPAMPs

Essence ST might be the way to go but it doesn't do all the nice digital pass-through that the HDAV does.
Not that I'll be using that initially...

It'll be just my luck that they announce something shortly afterwards.
