Here is my planned setup:
* Centralized HDBaseT switcher for video
* Centralized multi-zone audio distribution system
* TV in each room
* In-ceiling/wall speakers in each room
* In-wall volume control (with IR) for in-ceiling/wall speakers
The speakers are wired to the centralized audio distribution system (and going through the volume control). I also want to use these speakers for the TV (instead of the speakers built into the TV or a soundbar). To do this, in the central location I could wire the audio output of the video to the audio distribution system. However, I am afraid that due to different paths the audio and video could be out of sync. Is that a real concern? If so how would I prevent that?
