Hello everybody!

I am currently focused on purchasing an Epson PowerLite Pro G6470WU for my church. I intended on implementing HDBaseT, but would like to gain a little bit better of an understanding.

Hopefully I'm getting this right:
So, the PC would transmit audio/video to the HDBaseT transmitter which outputs the signal via UTP to the projector.

So where does the ethernet come in? I thought HDBaseT also carried ethernet over the UTP allowing for remote management through the network, but the transmitters I've seen only have an input for HDMI, not LAN.

Can somebody help me out here?

There are units that carry LAN as well as HDMI, RS-232 and IR. Binary, Atlona, and Zektor make these type of units. I would use their receivers though and not try to go HDBaseT directly into the projector,
