You shouldn't get an HDCP error unless you have HDMI running to your projector.

Need more detailed explanation of how you have your stuff hooked up.

I have a bluray player and hd cable box running hdmi to a Anthem receiver

set at 720p and am outputting component to the receiver since I can't run new cables and have tried a wyrestorm component to HDMI and get the non compliant projector error and can only select 480p.

Hope this helps a bit.

I don't believe receivers can convert component into HDMI... That is pretty much the reason HDCP was created.

You are probably going to need an HDFury or an HDCP stripper(the latter i have never used). Luckily the original fury's are pretty cheap.

Not really sure why anthem would design a receiver that even has this capability, knowing it won't worth with most things that output hdmi... *shrugs*
