hey everyone i just signed up. i have sony 23 inch widescreen falt panel model sdm-p232w. i want to hook it up to my ps3 not sure which hdfury to get since i looking around and it seems like i need to get a hdfury for it to work if anyone let me know which one i need.

You can buy a HDMI to DVI cable, but since your monitor is 1920x1200 the aspect ratio won't look right. I had this problem iwht my Samsung 205BW and ended up upgrading my monitor to a Samsung 2494HM that supportd 1080P.

I don't think that moniter does HDCP so HDMI DVI would not work.

The HDFury removes the protection.

The monitor might look right, if it has aspect scaling. Check the manual for something like that.

cool so which hd fury should i get i was thinking of getting the blue edition is the right i should get?

you're going to spend 200 dollars on this thing? why not just put that 200 bucks towards an actual tv, not a monitor? you can get a decent 27 inch for 300 bucks or so.

At that size screen I think the fellow is right buy a new display? I have the original unit and it seems to work fine other then it seems to expect the resolution to start at 480? Once I go to video options and reset the ps3 and then go back to 1080 its fine. Annoying yes.. but I live with it until I can afford a new projector.

yea i understand i would buy one with i had the money i found the hdfury blue edition for 100 bucks i thought would be good?
