HDMI 2.1 receivers recently manufactured

So I read somewhere online that the more recently manufactured Denon and Marantz receivers no longer have the hdmi 2.1 issues, that the receivers that are marked with certain serial numbers are not plagued by those issues anymore, does anyone know if this is true? I ask because I was thinking about purchasing the Marantz sr7015 but not if the problem with hdmi 2.1 still exists. Any help is very much appreciated.

It will likely be a few more months (ie. later this summer) before units are released with the "fixed" HDMI 2.1 board installed at the factory. No information available as to specific serial numbers.

You probably would be best holding off until after the summer to see what happens - it might just be easier to release fixed models under a new model number rather than do the serial number lottery.
