I lost the signal to my projector and found that the HDMI-HDMI cable that I use to main-line a signal from my Denon4802 receiver to my Sharp2000 projector is faulty...

After hooking everything up, I accidentally must have crushed the HDMI cable on the back of the receiver... specifically, the metal male end is loose, after looking at it, it pulled right out of the plastic/plyable housing...

Is it possible to have someone solder or repair an HDMI cable end?

Sorry to ask such a stupid question... my immediate guess would be no... but I would then need another 40ft HDMI-HDMI cable and its gonna be a real ***** to fish a new cable through the PVC conduit in the ceiling...

The conduit is plumbing conduit... no smooth corners, and there's already an RBG component cable running through it... the conduit is only 2" in diameter... seems big enough, but trust me, pulling such a long run aint fun...

So, can it be repaired?
